PURPOSE: To provide a unique training and development experience with a distinct ‘clinic’ feel that is designed to educate players, coaches and parents in multiple facets of the game relating to the sport of soccer.

FUN AND DEVELOPMENT FOR THE KIDS: Each week a team will play in a small sided game designed to give the youngest among us a chance to experience all the benefits of playing a team sport but at the same time getting to manipulate the ball individually. This small sided approach is widely accepted as the best way for soccer development to begin.

PRACTICE FOR THE COACHES: Each 3v3 league game will be accompanied by a 30-minute clinic conducted by our Lead Clinician. The clinics are structured to be practical and hand’s-on for each coach, parent-coach and/or apprentice coach. Each week, a different topic will be demonstrated by the Lead Clinician to the entire group. After a 5 minute demonstration, the teams and their coaches will practice for 10 minutes. This same process, with a different topic, will be repeated again bringing to an end the 30 minute clinic. Each weekend, a team will be playing one small sided league game with the attached clinic. Clinics are voluntary and not a requirement for teams to participate in the league.

INFORMATION FOR THE PARENTS: While each team clinic is being held, a separate 20-30 minute in-service will be held for the parents covering a host of soccer related topics. Each topic will be designed for the sole purpose of educating parents in areas such as Rules of the Game; Raising the Competitive Athlete; Psychology of Sports; Nutrition; Injury Prevention; Plyometric Training; Soccer Specific Training; Balanced Approach to Sideline Conduct; Tactical Soccer for Dummies just to name a few. The weekly in-service is optional and not mandatory for league participation.
